InnSeason Resorts South Mountain is proud to be part of this program created by the
Lincoln Woodstock Chamber of Commerce. Here are some pics of our bear in his early stages. Also, we are testing out some themes. Help us with selecting a theme, and check back here for more early pictures.
He will be hibernating until he is unveiled on Martin Luther King Weekend, aka Independence Weekend at Loon.
December 15: Added to this post this week is John’s Venetian Phantom and Kendra’s Nuckcracker King!
After the Nutcracker was missing from the lobby and found in a suite, Dave has been somewhat concerned as to their behavior. Here is Kendra’s Nutcracker King, and Dave’s attacking Santa. All in good holiday fun? Or is there not much to do at night pre-holiday week? A little of both I presume!

The South Mountain walking club is, uh, walking around town at lunch time, presumably for some excercise and fresh air. But we all know it is the conversation that makes it worth their while. What better place to that than our mountainside village?

Saturday was the annual Woodstock Fire Department Haunted Hayride. South Mountain employees joined the Chamber of Commerce to put on our rendition of Jason beheading an innocent Resort GM at the campfire.

Today we awoke to find that all those red, yellow, and orange trees were covered in snow. By noon the snow was gone, but it was certainly a surprise.
We are always ready for this type of weather change. The peak foliage is going strong. Come and see us. Better yet, send us a picture and we will post it for you.

Beat the crowds with a hike up to Sandwich Mountain, a less-traveled peak in the Sandwich Range that offers great views and a variety of trails.
Read my trip report here:
